Here's the final results of the blogging tools survey that we did earlier this month. FeedBurner is the big winner. I summarized the data in an XLS spreadsheet which you are free to use. A summary of my findings follow.
- Of the 16 tools in the survey, only 3 were commonly known; FeedBurner, Flickr and YouTube.
- 13 of the 16 tools were previously unknown to nearly as many or more than had previously used the blogging tool.
- Qumana, Blogthing and solosub were unknown by the majority of the respondents and used by very few.
- Feedpass and solosub, the two RSS landing page tools, were the only two tools not used regularly by any of the respondents.
- Nearly half of the respondents said FeedBurner was their favorite blogging tool. Flickr was the only other tool that was the favorite of more than 6 respondents.
- I was happy to see that Rmail had the largest percentage of regular usage by those that had ever used the tool.
