LiveJournal is back!

LiveJournal has returned from its grave. We can cancel our LiveJournal aid relief concert, as all 5.7 million blogs were saved.

It's not quite back yet... I have one of the best known journals on LiveJournal, and I'm still unable to get access to my account, and I suspect it might be a week before they sort out all of the mess with various missing posts, etc.

These things take time, basically. At least I can tell that they have a quite recent backup of the data that they have brought up, which is comforting.
