PEW released a new study on blogging called "A portrait of the internet's new storytellers." The highlights are...
- Few bloggers consider blogging as one of the reasons they blog.
- 46% of bloggers are women.
- 19% of blogger use LiveJournal, 9% use MySpace and 6% use Blogger.
- only 18% of bloggers offer and RSS feed.
The last struck me as odd. I suspect the truth is that nearly 82% of bloggers don't know they are offering an RSS feed as most all of the blogging platforms now provide a default RSS feed.
