I've seen this on a few blogs lately, but most recently on Ross' blog. These guys are onto something amazing. Here's hoping they have a couple patents in their backyard. It took me about 2 minutes to install their script on The RSS Blog. Hover over a link and check it out!

No you suck. Adding more widgets to your page just means I'll visit it less on my mobile. It's hard enough to navigate blogs on mobile devices, more widgets certainly don't help.

Also, have you done any research regarding the usefulness of snap, from an end user perspective? Or are you doing it cause all the cool kids are doing it?

The recent introduction of snap on WordPress.com met with, err, mixed reactions and I must admit I also find the popups very distracting (almost ad-like).
