Robert Scoble is asking Which blogosphere search engine is now better? I think we mostly agree that it's either Technorati or Google Blog Search. But which? I guess that depends on what you want in a blog search engine. I search quite often for people that are linking to me.
Both have an adult blog listed on Blogspot listed as my most recent referrer. Frustrating! At the moment, Google is giving me better results in terms of actual non-splog non-adult referrers. Google is always faster; sub-second versus Technorati which takes 1 to 15 seconds, sometimes more.
